Volleyball Recap: Mankato East Find Success

After losing to Austin the last time they met, Mankato East decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cougars came out on top against the Packers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Mankato East didn't let Austin take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23.

Austin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against New Ulm on the 20th. Hopefully Mankato East paid attention to the Packers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Packers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
