Dora has gone 9-1 against Cordova recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Dora Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Cordova Blue Devils at 3:30 p.m. Dora will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Dora is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Fultondale: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Dora blew Fultondale out of the water with a 68-41 final score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bulldogs had established a 25 point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dora to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bella Reese, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 boards. Those 26 points gave Reese a new career-high. Millicent Wilson was another key player, putting up 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals.

Meanwhile, Cordova didn't have too much trouble with Tarrant on Friday as they won 50-31. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Dora's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Cordova, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Dora strolled past Cordova in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 53-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dora since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
