Volleyball Recap: Center Place Starts Season with Victory at Home

Center Place gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Clinton Christian Academy Patriots by a score of 2-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Golden Eagles, who have now won four contests in a row dating back to last season.

Center Place not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Clinton Christian Academy between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Clinton Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hadley Brewer had five aces and four digs.

Center Place didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against El Dorado Christian on the 21st. As for Clinton Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Christian Learning Center on the 22nd.
