Softball Preview: Dimond Lynx vs. Delta Huskies
The Dimond Lynx will face off against the Delta Huskies at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Dimond's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Homer 17-0. The Lynx haven't had any issues with the Mariners recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Aubree Ogee made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
