Basketball Recap: Rabun County Piles Up the Points Against Towns County + How To Watch

Rabun County won the last time they faced Towns County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats blew past the Indians 66-31. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Rabun County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hayes Free out in front who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 12 boards. Free's big performance that evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Huey Blalock, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 assists.

Rabun County was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 20 assists every time they've taken the court this season.

Rabun County's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Towns County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
