Softball Recap: Capistrano Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Capistrano Valley Christian is still winless after their matchup against West Covina on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Capistrano Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for West Covina, the win got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Capistrano Valley Christian will face off against San Clemente at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Covina, they will square off against Monrovia at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
