Football Game Preview: Falconer/Cassadaga Valley vs. Chautauqua Lake/Westfield

On Friday Falconer/Cassadaga Valley take on Chautauqua Lake/Westfield at 7:00 PM. Falconer/Cassadaga Valley is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.

Falconer/Cassadaga Valley had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-41 punch to the gut against Randolph last Friday.

Meanwhile, Chautauqua Lake/Westfield took care of business in their home opener. They were able to grind out a solid victory over Allegany-Limestone, winning 18-7.

Chautauqua Lake/Westfield's win lifted them to 1-0 while Falconer/Cassadaga Valley's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Chautauqua Lake/Westfield's success rolls on or if Falconer/Cassadaga Valley are able to steal their positive momentum.
