Softball Recap: Parkland Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Parkland's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Northwest Guilford Vikings on Monday. The Mustangs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Parkland's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Northwest Guilford, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-12.

Parkland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwest Guilford, they will challenge West Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 3.6, the Titans 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
