Basketball Recap: Alden-Conger Comes Up Short

Alden-Conger lost against Martin County West back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Alden-Conger Knights lost 71-51 to the Martin County West Mavericks. The loss leaves the Knights without a win on the season.

Alden-Conger's record now sits at 0-4. As for Martin County West, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Alden-Conger won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Alden-Conger likes a good challenge. As for Martin County West, they will square off against Fairmont at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
