Volleyball Recap: Wahama White Falcons vs. Poca The Dots
After flying high against Point Pleasant last Monday, Wahama came back down to earth. The Wahama White Falcons fell 2-0 to the Poca The Dots on Tuesday. The White Falcons haven't had much luck with the The Dots recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
After all that action, the final score was 25-11, 25-8.
Among those leading the charge was Maylee Richards, who had ten digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Wahama's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Poca, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wahama's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ritchie County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wahama is facing Ritchie County at the right time seeing as Ritchie County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Poca, they will head out to challenge Ravenswood at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ravenswood will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Poca surely won't give up without a fight.
