Lincoln had won two straight games and Malakhi Lowe did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Trojans strolled past the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers with points to spare, taking the game 72-57 with plenty of help from Lowe, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds. Lowe is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Xavier Trotter and Eric Turral certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Trotter posted 16 points in addition to seven blocks and three steals, while Turral had 15 points along with eight boards and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Jaydence Triggs, who put up 11 points.
Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for FAMU DRS, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Lincoln will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Maclay at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. As for FAMU DRS, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-39 loss against Florida State University High School on the 21st.
