Soccer Recap: Enumclaw Comes Up Short

After flying high against Evergreen on Saturday, Enumclaw came back down to earth. The Hornets came up short against the Gig Harbor Tides on Tuesday, falling 5-1. Enumclaw were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Landon Breidenbach, who's now up to 20 this season.

Enumclaw's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7-3. As for Gig Harbor, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-2 record this season.

Enumclaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gig Harbor, they have already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Mountain View on the 15th.
