Baseball Recap: Floyd Central Takes a Loss

Floyd Central lost against New Albany back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Highlanders fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4.

Floyd Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for New Albany, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Floyd Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for New Albany, they will head out to take on Providence at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
