Football Game Preview: Pisgah Eagles vs. Tanner Rattlers + How To Watch

The Pisgah Eagles will take on the Tanner Rattlers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pisgah will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Pisgah lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Sylvania, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 36-10 margin over the Rams on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pisgah to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Watkins, who rushed for 45 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 54 receiving yards. That's the most receiving yards Watkins has posted since back in September. Another receiver making a difference was Cape Duncan, who picked up 65 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Tanner was beaten by Sweet Water 46-7 on Friday. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tanner's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pisgah, their record is now 8-2.

Everything came up roses for Pisgah against Tanner in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, as the team secured a 66-38 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rattlers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
