Basketball Recap: Carlisle County Victorious

If Hickman County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Carlisle County, they should've done a better job of containing Macee Hogancamp. The Carlisle County Comets put the hurt on the Hickman County Falcons with a sharp 46-20 victory on Friday thanks in part to Hogancamp, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Carlisle County's points.

Another player making a difference was Kamdyn Longman, who posted eight points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The win got Carlisle County back to even at 2-2. As for Hickman County, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlisle County and Fulton City will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hickman County, they will head out to take on Ballard Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
