After a string of four wins, Morristown's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 74-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montville Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Colonials can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 93rd).

Morristown's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Montville, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morristown will take on Whippany Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montville, they will challenge Morris Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Montville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Morris Hills likes a good challenge.
