Football Recap: Pattonville Takes a Loss

Pattonville lost against Kirkwood back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates were dealt a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Pioneers are ranked 28th).

Pattonville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kirkwood, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pattonville is set to face off against their familiar foe Marquette at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kirkwood will square off against rival Lafayette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
