Green Hope had won eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 3-0 to make it nine. Everything went their way against the Holly Springs Golden Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Hawks, too.

Taylor Bruce paced Green Hope's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bruce got some help from Chloe Burbage and her 26 assists. Bruce also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Evelyn Carlson, racking up three apiece.

As for Holly Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 17, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Holly Springs lost, don't look at Madison Pare. Despite the final result, she had 11 assists and four digs.

Green Hope has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Broughton on the 18th. As for Holly Springs, they will be playing at home against Willow Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
