Softball Recap: Caldwell Comes Up Short

Caldwell lost against Livingston back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chiefs came up short against the Lancers, falling 7-1. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Livingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.

Caldwell will take on Mount St. Dominic Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Chiefs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Livingston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Essex at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
