Football Recap: Waldport Starts Season with Loss at Home

Waldport unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Bandon Tigers 49-0 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Irish of the 62-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

Looking ahead, Waldport will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Glide at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bandon, they will be playing at home against Gaston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
