Antonio Washington Delivers Best Performance of Season

Bell was led to victory by Antonio Washington, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Washington rushed for 251 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 22 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

McKinley Tech had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Washington it was a similar story. Washington rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries the last time he and the Trainers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Aaron Perkins Goes Supernova in Bell Win

Keeping Washington company is Aaron Perkins, a fellow Bell player. He rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown.

This year, Butler has run in those 1 touchdown while averaging 24.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 5.4 rushing yards per game.
