Basketball Recap: Rochester Comes Up Short

Rochester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 64-16 loss at the hands of the Edwardsville Tigers. The Rockets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-10.

Taylor Offer was Rochester's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Offer also led the team in rebounds with four.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Edwardsville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-9.

Coming up, Rochester will square off against Father McGivney Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edwardsville, they will face off against Belleville West at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
