Liberty Christian had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Friday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Nolan Catholic Vikings. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly five runs.

Liberty Christian got a great performance from Colton Zahorik as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Evan Wells was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Hogan Nelson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Liberty Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 28-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Nolan Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-17-1.
