Basketball Recap: Medomak Valley Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Medomak Valley put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Lake Region Lakers as the Medomak Valley Panthers made off with a 65-40 victory. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Medomak Valley's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Lake Region, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Medomak Valley and Mt. Ararat will round out the year against one another at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Ararat has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lake Region, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Spruce Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
