Softball Game Preview: Rosemont Wolverines vs. Amador Buffaloes

The Rosemont Wolverines will head out on the road to square off against the Amador Buffaloes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Rosemont turned things around against El Dorado on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 tie. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wolverines were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Amador fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Liberty Ranch on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 9-8. The loss continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Amador's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1. Rosemont's tie gives them a new season record of 5-13-1.
