After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Berlin, Bristol Eastern was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Hall Titans as they made off with a 15-3 victory. Considering the Lancers have won six games by more than 11 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Hailey Beebe made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Bristol Eastern let Gracie Brown and Maria Albert run wild. Brown got on base in three of her four plate appearances with six stolen bases and three runs, while Albert went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those six stolen bases gave Brown a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Leah Webber, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Bristol Eastern's record now sits at 9-4. As for Hall, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
