Basketball Game Preview: Linden-McKinley Panthers vs. Centennial Stars

Linden-McKinley is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Centennial is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Linden-McKinley Panthers will host the Centennial Stars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Linden-McKinley fought the good fight in their overtime game against Maumee Valley Country Day on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Hawks 57-51. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly six points.

Meanwhile, Centennial got the win against Whetstone on Friday by a conclusive 79-55. The Stars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Centennial has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Linden-McKinley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Linden-McKinley won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by Centennial 48-47. Will Linden-McKinley repeat their success, or does Centennial have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
