Baseball Recap: Hubbertville Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Hubbertville was the 8-4 winner over South Lamar when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell 5-2 to the Stallions on Monday.

Hubbertville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Brand, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Hubbertville's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8. As for South Lamar, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11.

Hubbertville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Lamar, they will square off against Lamar County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stallions are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
