Softball Recap: Cascade Cadets vs. Monrovia Bulldogs

Cascade stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Monrovia Bulldogs an 11-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for Cascade as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Lacie Godby made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Godby has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Godby was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adie Paschal, who went 2-for-2 with a home run, three RBI, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Ava Allen, who went 2-for-2 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base.
