Basketball Game Preview: Seymour Owls vs. Bedford North Lawrence Stars

The Seymour Owls will challenge the Bedford North Lawrence Stars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Seymour got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They strolled past Columbus East with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 57-42.

Meanwhile, Bedford North Lawrence didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Jennings County on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 65-60 win.

Bedford North Lawrence pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Seymour, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Seymour didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Bedford North Lawrence when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 47-42 win.
