Basketball Recap: Derby Comes Up Short

Derby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-24 loss at the hands of the Watertown Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 90-23 last Friday.

Christopher O'Toole continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Watertown, putting up 23 points. Dylan Fekete was another key player, posting 12 points.

Derby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Watertown, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Derby has already played their next contest (against Waterbury Career Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Watertown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-48 loss against Crosby on the 28th.
