 Eastern Lebanon County came tearing into  Thursday's  game with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   7-4  victory over the James Buchanan Rockets.
  Morgan Shanaman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits (and not a single walk). Shanaman has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Shanaman was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Bryant Auker was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.  Dallas George was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 On James Buchanan's side,  Jake Miller was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.
 Eastern Lebanon County's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 14-9. As for James Buchanan, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.
 Eastern Lebanon County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for James Buchanan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fleetwood at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Fleetwood's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5  runs per game  this season, so James Buchanan's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
