Soccer Game Preview: Kelly vs. Kennedy

For the first time this season, Kelly will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will welcome the Kennedy Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kelly is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Noble Street College Prep 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Kelly were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Kennedy's match on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand Richards a 3-0 shutout.

Kennedy hit the Warriors with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Natalie Qui?onez, Samantha Gonzaga, and Arlin Solis.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-2. As for Kelly, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-2.

Everything went Kelly's way against Kennedy when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Kelly made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
