Baseball Game Preview: Van Vleck Leopards vs. Brazos Cougars

For the second straight game, Van Vleck will face off against Brazos. The Leopards will face off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Van Vleck's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Brazos' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Brazos will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Van Vleck extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Leopards had just enough and edged out the Cougars 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Leopards have posted since February 21st.

For Brazos' part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Polasek, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Van Vleck's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Brazos, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-8.
