Basketball Recap: Interstate 35 Takes a Loss

The Interstate 35 Roadrunners lost 68-43 to the Albia Blue Demons on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Blue Demons are ranked 61st).

Interstate 35 has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. Albia is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Interstate 35 nor Albia have any future games scheduled.
