Enochs won against Pitman last Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against the Gregori Jaguars by a score of 10-6. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won ten games in a row.

Kaylee Ruiz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Enochs let Nico Gwin and Daniella Barba run wild. Gwin went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double, while Barba scored four runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those three RBI gave Gwin a new career-high. Lillian Camarena was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

They weren't the only one making solid contact: Enochs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive matches.

Enochs pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Gregori, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 12-3 record.

Looking ahead, Enochs is taking a road trip to take on Turlock at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Gregori, they will square off against Modesto at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
