Soccer Game Preview: Clinton vs. Germantown

Clinton is 8-2 against Germantown since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Arrows will head out to take on the Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Clinton got the win against Oxford by a conclusive 5-1. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Clinton hit Oxford with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cole Hayman (2), Juan Paredes, Colton Cox, and Timothy Graham.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Germantown). Their defense stepped up to hand Murrah a 4-0 shutout on Friday. Considering Germantown's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 5-0-2. As for Germantown, their win bumped their record up to 2-4-4.
