Greenfield hadn't done well against Athol recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Green Wave walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bears. The victory continues a trend for the Green Wave in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won three in a row.

Greenfield walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 23-25, 25-11.

Greenfield's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Athol, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
