Malden dropped their record down to 24-9 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Kennett Indians by a score of 10-9. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-2 defeat two weeks ago.
Malden got a massive performance out of Carsyn Cohen, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Mariah Loya was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
As for Kennett, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 26-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since March 22nd.
