Soccer Recap: Commerce Takes a Loss

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Oologah Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Commerce of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Oologah, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Commerce will challenge rival Porter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Oologah is set to face off against their familiar foe Mannford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
