Basketball Recap: Altoona Comes Up Short

Altoona lost against Ellsworth back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Altoona Railroaders were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to the Ellsworth Panthers.

Altoona has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Ellsworth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Altoona has already played their next contest, a 56-52 defeat against Medford on the 4th. As for Ellsworth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 81-72 win against Amery on the 4th.
