Basketball Recap: Buffalo Grove Takes a Loss

Buffalo Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hampshire Whip-Purs. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Whip-Purs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Buffalo Grove's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hampshire, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo Grove won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Maine West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hampshire, they will be home for the holidays to greet Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Hampshire likes a good challenge.
