Baseball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty suffered their biggest loss since April 25, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Shady Spring Tigers, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in March.

Liberty has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Shady Spring, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10-1 record this season.

Liberty will take on Summers County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shady Spring, they will square off against Sissonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
