Baseball Recap: Bath County Comes Up Short

Bath County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-2 to the Pocahontas County Warriors. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Bath County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was I Ingram, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Bath County's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pocahontas County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bath County will welcome Parry McCluer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pocahontas County, they will be playing at home against Pendleton County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
