Glenwood had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Beulah Bobcats as they made off with a 79-53 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-40 last Tuesday.

Glenwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braylen Alexander led the charge by going 8 for 18 on his way to 20 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Jadarian Holloway, who went 5 of 8 en route to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Glenwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for Beulah, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.

Glenwood will welcome Lee-Scott Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Glenwood is on a three-game streak of home wins, Lee-Scott Academy a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Beulah, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Beulah Bobcats face off against the Dadeville Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Beulah is facing Dadeville at the right time seeing as Dadeville is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
