Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

It was a Battle of the Birds when Fairfield took on Iowa Park on Saturday. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hawks, sneaking past 2-1. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

In the two sets Fairfield was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-13, 25-9.

Fairfield pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Iowa Park, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Fairfield will be taking part in a tournament against Trinity Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Iowa Park, they will square off against Nocona at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
