Basketball Recap: Alfonzo Graves' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Franklin Central over Brownsburg

Franklin Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 60-45 to the Brownsburg Bulldogs. Flashes fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bulldogs since Friday.

Several Flashes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alfonzo Graves, who posted 12 points and three steals. Jacob Parham was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Franklin Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brownsburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Franklin Central will venture away from home to square off against Mooresville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brownsburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-46 victory against Liberty Christian on the 6th.
