Softball Recap: Porter Comes Up Short

Porter lost against Dayton back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broncos.

Porter's loss dropped their record down to 11-10-1. As for Dayton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Porter and Dayton will both be playing Splendora the next time they take the field. The Broncos will host the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
