Basketball Recap: Norcom Takes a Loss

Norcom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northeastern Eagles.

Northeastern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eleck Sutton, who posted 16 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Z'Kobe Whidbee, who earned 16 points.

Norcom's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Northeastern, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Norcom will head out on the road to challenge Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Norcom is facing Manor at the right time seeing as Manor is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Northeastern, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against First Flight at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northeastern is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 70.2 points per game this season.
