League recap: Burnett dominating on the mound for Clever

Clever's Jordan Burnett was the best pitcher in the league this week. He won one game and struck out 10 batters.

The Blue Jays (26-3, 7-1) are riding a league-best 5-game winning streak. The streak was extended by another two games over the past week, including a 10-3 victory over Blue Eye. The team's hottest hitter over the past week was Chance Wolfe, who had five hits and drove in four runs.

Clever's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 11 hits and two walks, both of which led the league. The Blue Jays' pitchers have been charged with only 125 hits and have struck out 220 batters. Burnett is tops on the staff with 60 Ks.
